Dear Parents,
Warm Greetings!
As part of our efforts to implement a system of regular teacher-parent and school-parent communication, below is the detail of the upcoming events/ topics/ activities planned for class 1st for the week of 15th April 2019 to 20th April 2019.
Weekly Subject Learning Schedule
English: Children will learn the lesson “All About Rani”. Written work will also be done on worksheet. Grammar: Topic “Word” will be introduced and practiced on worksheet.
Mathematics: Children will learn about Shapes and do practice of “Numbers upto 20” on worksheet.
Urdu: Children will learn الفاظ دو حرفی and الفاظ تین حرفی . Written work will also be done on worksheet .
Hindi: Students who have opted for Hindi as their second language, will learn दो,तीन,चार अक्षर वाले शब्द and आ की मात्रा. Written work will also be done.
EVS: Children will learn “All About Me” and “Our Family”. This will help the children to understand the concept of Family. Written work related to these topics will also be done.
Art and Craft: In order to develop creativity and imagination of students, children will learn to colour on their “Art Splash”. The craft work will include “Making of a Friendship band”. Parents are requested to send three different coloured ribbons (half metre each) for this activity.
Value Education: As part of our efforts to inculcate moral values among the students the sense of helpfulness, cooperation and belonging to a group will be developed by continuing the topic “Let’s Do Things Together”.
Computer: In order to develop technical skill of students, the teacher will continue the topic “Uses of a Computer” with the help of audio-visual tools.
GK: Lesson no.5 “Magic Land” will be done .
Conversation: Students will learn to ask simple questions to develop basic classroom manners such as:
- May I come in?
- May I go to washroom?
- May I drink water?
- May I please lend your pencil?
Class activity: Activities regarding English and EVS include “Making of a caterpillar” and “Making of a Hut”. Parents are requested to send 10 to 15 ice-cream sticks, crayon colours and scrap book on Wednesday (17th April).
Friday activity:
Mask Making: Parents are requested to send half chart paper, crayon colours and one metre ribbon of any colour.
Note: A few students have missed out their previous activity due to unavailability of required material. Kindly ensure that material mentioned in the planner is sent with the child that week.
